Welcome to Midway Flying Club
The Midway Flying club was founded as a non-profit 501(c)(7) tax-exempt organization on October 2018 by a group of pilots who felt there was a need to bring affordable and safe flying opportunities in well-maintained and capable aircraft to the pilot community of South Dallas.
We operate from the Mid-Way Regional airport (KJWY) located half way between Midlothian and Waxahachie in Ellis county, only 30 miles South of downtown Dallas or 37 miles South east of Fort Worth.
The objective is to build up a club with a pilot-to-aircraft ratio that we feel is a good compromise between affordability and airplane availability for the individual member. We welcome pilots who are enthusiastic about flying and about continuing to improve their flying skills and experience.
